Responsibilities
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and design through code reviews, automated testing, and launches.
- Design, implement, test, and deliver scalable, extensible, maintainable, observable, secure, and performant products and services.
- Develop full-stack features using web technologies, APIs, distributed systems, relational and non-relational databases, and public cloud infrastructure.
- Create comprehensive unit and end-to-end testing strategies and automation frameworks.
- Partner with lead engineers on architecture and enforce security, performance, accessibility, and code-reuse best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to clarify requirements and deliver user experiences.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support product scope analysis, work breakdown planning, effort estimation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder issue resolution.
Requirements
- 3–10 years of hands-on full-stack software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming, scripting languages, web technologies, JavaScript, API architecture, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, service-oriented APIs, and microservices.
- Experience developing and optimizing data models across relational and non-relational databases.
- Understanding of API security practices including OAuth, JWT, and API key management.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, Git, CI/CD pipelines, public cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, CDNs, unit testing, and testing frameworks.
- Experience with product scope analysis, work breakdown structures, technical effort estimation, troubleshooting, stakeholder collaboration, and mentoring.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and AWS technologies; knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, large language models, and agents.
