Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality, stable, and scalable software solutions.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are reflected in implementation.
- Analyze and visualize large datasets to identify problems and patterns and improve software applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice, emerging-technology events, and inclusive team culture.
- Use and evaluate enterprise-authorized AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while following secure and responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in Java EE full-stack development, Spring Boot, and SOLID design principles.
- Experience with MQ or Kafka, Oracle, Cassandra, NoSQL databases, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Docker, containerization, Kubernetes, JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Playwright.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Understanding of AI models and coding assistants such as CoPilot, including the ability to critically evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred familiarity with modern front-end technologies, AWS offerings, cloud-agnostic application development and deployment, React, and JavaScript.
