Responsibilities
- Develop applications in Java, Python, or Rust.
- Analyze and optimize ETL pipelines for performance and maintainability.
- Design and implement microservices-based reporting services, including data extraction, transformation, enrichment, and downstream publication.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, workload resilience, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate globally with business analysts, project managers, architects, and production support teams.
- Coordinate across regions and take on business analysis responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience building multi-tier, microservices-based applications.
- Deep expertise in Java, including Streams, Lambdas, Optional, Functional Interfaces, and Annotations.
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Proficiency with Kafka, Redis Pub/Sub, JMS, Solace, MQ, and Google Pub/Sub.
- Strong DevOps and CI/CD skills with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, and experience with high-performance computing.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.
- Experience with at least one testing framework such as JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, WireMock, Pytest, or Unittest.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills, analytical problem-solving ability, ownership throughout the SDLC, collaboration skills, and leadership appetite.
- Preferred qualifications include fixed-income experience with Rates and Credit products, pricing or risk-management experience, and Java, cloud, or DevOps certifications.
