Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain key components of the BS2000 mainframe operating system across the full software lifecycle.
- Design complex IT architectures based on customer requirements.
- Implement, test, maintain, and provide service support for software modules.
- Collaborate with large development teams and international strategic partners.
- Create technical documentation and user-manual content.
- Provide technical support, back-level maintenance, and troubleshooting for internal modules and third-party components.
Requirements
- A completed degree, such as in Computer Science, or a comparable vocational qualification in an IT-related field.
- Initial professional experience in software development, including programming and system debugging.
- Preferably, experience with Assembler, C/C++, and scripting languages.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle, source code management, and continuous integration.
- Strong analytical skills, flexibility, creativity, and a customer- and service-oriented mindset.
- Very good German and good English language skills.
