Responsibilities
- Plan, deploy, monitor, and maintain AWS and Alibaba Cloud compute, storage, networking, and application services.
- Design highly available and auto-scaling cloud architectures and optimize network, storage, and compute configurations.
- Implement monitoring and alerting with cloud-native and open-source tools.
- Lead critical incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive remediation for infrastructure issues.
- Optimize cloud spending through reserved instances, auto-scaling, storage lifecycle policies, and resource quota management.
- Implement cloud security baselines, access controls, security audits, vulnerability remediation, and database auditing.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architectures and provide cloud-native solutions.
- Document standard operating procedures and lead internal technical training sessions.
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate with operations, development, testing, and security teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of operations experience, including at least 3 years focused on public cloud environments.
- Experience managing public cloud environments with more than 100 instances.
- Mastery of core compute, storage, networking, and security services on AWS or Alibaba Cloud, with familiarity with the other platform.
- Proficiency in Linux or Windows system operations and automation using Shell, Python, or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience operating containerized environments with Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, or ACK, and familiarity with service mesh technologies.
- Experience with hybrid cloud architecture, building cloud platforms from scratch, or large-scale migration projects is preferred.
- Team leadership and management experience is preferred, with the ability to collaborate across operations, development, testing, and security teams.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Alibaba Cloud ACP/ACE certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or Azure multi-cloud management platforms and FinOps cost optimization methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with cloud security practices, Web Application Firewall, and DDoS protection is preferred.
- Exposure to big data or AI operations is preferred.
- Applicants should have current Singapore work authorization and not require visa sponsorship from OKX.
