Responsibilities
- Understand regional requirements, implement local solutions, and align them with strategic target-state architecture.
- Translate complex technical issues for leadership and support strategic architecture decisions.
- Evaluate current and emerging technologies and recommend future-state solutions using established standards and frameworks.
- Improve architecture governance practices and establish reusable AI-enabled engineering patterns across SDLC and toolchain practices.
- Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Influence product design, application functionality, technical operations, and enterprise architecture decisions.
- Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert and advocate for firmwide engineering frameworks, tools, and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Formal training or certification in infrastructure architecture principles and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, applications, and architecture.
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes, with deep expertise in at least one technical discipline.
- Practical cloud-native experience and the ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies.
- Experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation and data-sensitivity awareness.
- Ability to integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or similar.
- Preferred knowledge includes security best practices, APAC regulatory requirements, and financial services industry trends.
