Responsibilities
- Automate builds and develop tools supporting continuous integration, delivery, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain build scripts, build environments, software releases, and release promotion processes.
- Manage application packaging, deployment, software configuration management, and repository administration.
- Monitor daily build cycles and release hotfix packages across multiple product branches.
- Coordinate DevOps efforts across global sites and collaborate with IT on infrastructure, corporate policies, and secure development requirements.
- Design, develop, and test integration of components and systems using APIs and scripting.
- Provide installation, deployment, and technical support for software and firmware products.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders and communicate technical updates and resolutions clearly.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least two years of hands-on software development and configuration management experience.
- More than five years of experience may qualify candidates for the Staff or Senior Engineer position.
- Experience with Git technologies and ClearCase or SVN.
- Scripting experience with Python or Microsoft PowerShell.
- Experience with dependency management tools and repositories such as TeamCity and Artifactory.
- Experience managing software development server hardware and software on Microsoft Windows and Linux.
- Experience implementing automated unit and integration testing frameworks.
- C/C++ experience in a real-time environment.
- Experience with automated IT infrastructure or operating system configuration management tools.
- Experience managing virtual machines and templates in vCenter or Azure.
- Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed, matrixed organization and communicate complex technical information.
- Willingness to provide after-hours support and undertake light international travel.
