Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end software solutions, RESTful/gRPC APIs, and core services powering critical workflows.
- Design and develop highly distributed, massively scalable cloud infrastructure and cloud-native applications.
- Lead architectural and detailed design efforts with security, high availability, fault tolerance, and operational resiliency in mind.
- Operate, optimize, and scale cloud infrastructure and production-grade services.
- Troubleshoot distributed cloud environments and contribute to cloud networking design and operations.
- Perform incident response, performance tuning, and uptime optimization for reliable services.
- Collaborate with peer teams and stakeholders to understand customer needs and propose feasible technical solutions.
Requirements
- Mastery of one or more of Python, Go, or Java, with hands-on experience applying design patterns and developing RESTful/gRPC APIs.
- Proven experience with major public cloud platforms and underlying infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud-native application development, Kubernetes orchestration, end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, and Crossplane.
- Understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and X.509 certificate frameworks.
- Proficiency with at least one infrastructure-as-code solution such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Experience leading architectural and detailed design efforts for secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and resilient systems.
- Experience operating, optimizing, and scaling cloud infrastructure and production-grade services.
- Exposure to cloud networking technologies, design patterns, and troubleshooting for distributed cloud environments.
- Expertise in service reliability engineering, incident response, performance tuning, and uptime optimization.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build cross-functional partnerships.
