Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot secure software components for Payments Technology products.
- Write high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when developing solutions.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
- Apply software development lifecycle processes, methodologies, and technical troubleshooting to resolve basic-complexity problems.
Requirements
- Complete formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and have 2+ years of applied experience.
- Have hands-on practical experience as a Java full-stack developer using React and AWS.
- Have experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Have experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understand responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Have experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Have exposure to CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise Java full-stack development, Agile SDLC delivery, Java 17+, microservices deployed through AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service or Elastic Container Service to EC2, Terraform scripting, AWS production deployments, and relational database experience, preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL.
