Responsibilities
- Architect and implement endpoint security solutions including EDR/EPP, vulnerability management, DLP, and AI Security.
- Integrate and scale endpoint visibility and security tools across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Conduct proof-of-concept testing for security configurations, policies, and emerging technologies.
- Administer endpoint security platforms, including agent health, console performance, and enterprise integrations.
- Troubleshoot agent connectivity, policy conflicts, security issues, and exclusion list management.
- Act as the escalation point for endpoint-related incidents.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, DevOps, SOC, compliance, and risk management teams on security policies and regulatory alignment.
- Create playbooks, runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Deliver knowledge sharing, mentorship, and cybersecurity awareness training.
- Track emerging endpoint attack tactics and security technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of endpoint security engineering experience focused on tools such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Qualys, and Proofpoint, plus 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
- Experience designing and deploying EDR systems, including performance optimization, policy configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux, macOS, and Windows, including OS-level hardening and policy compliance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across IT, DevOps, and Security teams.
- Experience deploying security for containers and workloads such as Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, Fargate, and GKE Autopilot.
- Experience with File Integrity Monitoring and policy compliance.
- Cloud service provider infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Scripting experience with Shell scripting, Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Zsh.
- Familiarity with NIST, SOX, CIS benchmarks, and FedRAMP standards.
- CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or vendor-specific SentinelOne, Qualys, or Proofpoint certifications are preferred.
