Base Salary

$173k - $237k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Hire, develop, and support a team of technical Solutions Architects.
  • Adapt the team’s skills and engagement model to digital-native customers.
  • Ensure the team qualifies workloads, identifies use cases, builds proofs of concept, and acts as trusted customer advisors.
  • Travel to customer sites for executive sessions, technical workshops, and relationship building.
  • Build relationships across engineering, product, services, and sales to support customers and the team.
  • Stay current with emerging data and AI trends and represent Databricks as a technical leader.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in the data space with a technical product such as data warehousing, big data, cloud infrastructure, or machine learning.
  • At least 3 years of experience building and leading technical customer-facing teams, including hiring, onboarding, and team support.
  • Experience building a territory, growing strategic accounts, and exceeding targets.
  • Experience managing workloads and consumption with sales, product, and engineering counterparts.
  • Experience owning executive alignment for accounts that guide strategic decisions.
  • Ability to develop a team vision for the digital-natives business and communicate complex solutions to technical stakeholders.
