Responsibilities
- Participate in a summer internship developing competencies across engineering specializations.
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in the prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks and make directed adjustments, modifications, and replacements.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
- Interact with users, customers, and other developers.
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university and graduate after August 2027.
- Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar STEM discipline.
- Be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and program special access; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred: cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
- Preferred: previous internship or co-op experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and professional, community, or extracurricular activities.
