Responsibilities
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical design documents and lead development delivery.
- Lead the Pune technical team supporting GTPL Product Processor departments, including mentoring, delegation, and review activities.
- Design, implement, integrate, and test complex ETL applications and new features.
- Manage project plans, PTS documentation, handover documents, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing oversight.
- Work with business analysis, product assurance, platforms and infrastructure, business office, controls, and production support teams.
- Analyze complex data problems, develop solutions compatible with existing infrastructure, and proactively resolve performance, reliability, usability, and delivery risks.
- Contribute to software architecture, development-process, and technology improvements.
Requirements
- 9+ years of software development experience.
- 8+ years of AbInitio ETL experience, including hands-on development of complex ETL applications.
- 6+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience, including SQL tuning and writing packages, triggers, functions, and procedures.
- Experience with data conversion or migration and strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience working in an onsite-offshore model.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills, including building teams, delegating, mentoring, and supporting off-site teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, organization, prioritization, risk-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
