Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements and propose solutions for Generative AI and full-stack projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and AI-powered platforms using modern front-end, back-end, and LLM integration technologies.
- Create and manage databases while maintaining data integrity and security.
- Write clean, documented, and tested code and own unit and integration testing for created or modified functions.
- Work with project managers to define work breakdown structures and provide delivery estimates.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers on integration, functional, and regression testing.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability and recommend technical approaches as the platform evolves.
- Engage with business and operations teams to align AI/ML solutions with enterprise goals and operational needs.
- Implement responsive front-end interfaces and develop RESTful APIs and third-party integrations, including LLM and Generative AI APIs.
- Optimize applications for mobile and desktop platforms and maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay current with Generative AI and LLM developments and share applied AI and agentic developer-tool best practices with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with a strong AI/ML or full-stack development portfolio.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
- Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js and back-end frameworks such as FastAPI, Node.js, or Spring.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL; familiarity with MongoDB or Cassandra is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization or business analytics tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI is beneficial.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in Agile teams of 5–8 cross-skilled engineers.
- Solid understanding of version control tools, ideally Git.
- Experience implementing RESTful APIs, complex programs, custom algorithms, and custom code on top of open-source frameworks.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to explain complex AI/ML and technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in applied R&D or innovation-lab environments and hands-on use of agentic developer tools such as Claude Desktop, Claude CLI, Claude Code, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot, or Google Gemini is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of prompting techniques is strongly preferred.
