Responsibilities
- Build technical solutions aligned with regulatory requirements, business needs, and target operating model outcomes.
- Remediate data gaps and process weaknesses affecting regulatory reporting.
- Translate FX business and support-team requirements into working software.
- Provide IT management with feedback on required changes, functions, and process flows.
- Manage and contribute to development activity across GFX regulatory projects.
- Design and build regulatory services in line with the GFX strategic architecture.
- Use AI during the software development lifecycle and validate and evaluate AI-generated outputs.
- Apply Agile development practices to plan and deliver iteratively.
Requirements
- Substantial IT software development experience and strong technical knowledge.
- Strong Java development capability using Java 11 or later.
- Experience building and maintaining solutions with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Sybase.
- Experience developing integrations using XML, REST, and messaging technologies.
- Ability to use AI effectively in the software development lifecycle with clear validation and evaluation of outputs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with local and global teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodology and delivery practices.
- Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
