Responsibilities
- Design and develop CAD/CAE-based solutions, models, simulations, prototypes, and software components according to client specifications.
- Test prototypes and designs, evaluate boundary conditions, and perform impact analysis and stress analysis.
- Perform FMEA, identify improvement opportunities, and implement optimized and cost-effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and integrate software systems while resolving client and software integration defects.
- Provide customer support, evaluate user feedback, and resolve tickets with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Develop software verification plans and quality-assurance procedures.
- Maintain client documentation, design-change repositories, status reports, timesheets, and written project knowledge transfer.
- Follow project plans, operating procedures, industry standards, and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in designing and developing software-based engineering solutions for client requirements.
- Ability to work with CAD and CAE software to create engineering models, prototypes, and simulations.
- Knowledge of testing, defect fixing, debugging, software integration, verification, and quality assurance.
- Ability to perform or support impact analysis, stress analysis, FMEA, and evaluation of operational feasibility.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation, status reports, and project records.
- Ability to comply with project schedules, industry standards, quality requirements, and client processes.
