Responsibilities
- Develop backend agentic AI services for Ring's smart-home products.
- Build cloud-powered intelligence that converts large volumes of device signals into context-aware customer actions.
- Contribute to AI-powered workflows for building and operating cloud services.
- Perform full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
- Collaborate with engineers and applied scientists across multiple countries and time zones.
- Communicate proactively, provide technical leadership, and deliver products to customers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- 2+ years of systems development experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Proficiency using GenAI technology for software development, such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Preferred: experience with Java, C++, Python, or a related language.
- Preferred: master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: machine learning model development experience.
- Preferred: GenAI and agent-service development experience using LLMs or VLMs.
