Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable components and capabilities for Azure Document Intelligence and Content Understanding services.
- Build testing, evaluation, automation, and telemetry systems to measure product quality, identify regressions, and improve service performance.
- Use AI-assisted development tools while applying technical judgment to review and validate generated output.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Develop production software with attention to quality, reliability, performance, compliance, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, and operating production software systems.
- Backend development experience with Azure or another cloud platform, C#, Python, C++, REST APIs, SQL, CI/CD, DevOps, containers, or distributed services.
- Strong problem-solving, coding, debugging, and system design skills with a focus on quality, performance, reliability, and engineering excellence.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools and review, test, and validate AI-generated outputs.
