Responsibilities

  • Implement and review safety-relevant software components, including bootloaders, hypervisor integration layers, and OS/BSP-level code.
  • Implement and verify safety mechanisms such as MPU configuration, error handling, and watchdog management.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, implementation, and test artifacts.
  • Contribute to software unit design and interface documentation according to ISO 26262 Part 6.
  • Participate in code reviews focused on correctness, freedom from interference, and MISRA compliance.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong C/C++ skills in embedded or low-level software, including bare-metal, RTOS, or hypervisor-layer development.
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262 software-development requirements.
  • Experience with SoC platforms.
  • Understanding of MPU, ECC, lockstep, or similar hardware safety features is advantageous.
  • QNX Hypervisor or similar virtualization experience is a strong plus.
