Responsibilities
- Implement and review safety-relevant software components, including bootloaders, hypervisor integration layers, and OS/BSP-level code.
- Implement and verify safety mechanisms such as MPU configuration, error handling, and watchdog management.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, implementation, and test artifacts.
- Contribute to software unit design and interface documentation according to ISO 26262 Part 6.
- Participate in code reviews focused on correctness, freedom from interference, and MISRA compliance.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong C/C++ skills in embedded or low-level software, including bare-metal, RTOS, or hypervisor-layer development.
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 software-development requirements.
- Experience with SoC platforms.
- Understanding of MPU, ECC, lockstep, or similar hardware safety features is advantageous.
- QNX Hypervisor or similar virtualization experience is a strong plus.
