Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Python-based production applications and tools.
- Develop new functionalities and improve existing software solutions.
- Design and evolve frameworks supporting business and financial calculations.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into software solutions.
- Support citizen developers by promoting development best practices, quality standards, and testing approaches.
- Extend and maintain automated integration and testing frameworks.
- Ensure code quality through test automation, code reviews, and quality controls.
- Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices to improve software delivery and reliability.
- Work onsite with clients and partners in Luxembourg to support project delivery and client relationships.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Python development.
- At least 7 years of experience in test automation and software quality practices.
- Proven experience working with business stakeholders to deliver solutions meeting functional and technical requirements.
- Strong experience with Python, Django, Django ORM, REST APIs, SQLAlchemy, Pandas, and SQL.
- Understanding of test automation frameworks, BDD, CI/CD practices, and DevOps principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Financial-sector or financial-calculation experience, developer mentoring, and knowledge of cloud-based architectures are advantageous.
- Successful candidates must undergo a criminal background check before employment.
