Responsibilities
- Provide technical, thought, and people leadership for redesigning, developing, maintaining, and modernizing a large multi-tenant legacy software application.
- Provide hands-on development support and resolve complex technical issues with innovative solutions.
- Migrate legacy applications to the cloud while maintaining security posture, meeting uptime requirements, and improving user experience.
- Ensure attainment of SLAs and SLOs in accordance with the QASP.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor cross-functional development team members.
- Adapt to changing conditions and manage multiple tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 11 years of experience designing, maintaining, and modernizing secure, scalable enterprise applications.
- Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
- Hands-on expertise in infrastructure optimization, scalability, enterprise software architecture, cloud-native development, backend development, frontend engineering, database engineering, security engineering, workflow and business logic engines, API and systems integration, data engineering and analytics, automation, and DevOps.
- Understanding of standards such as OSCAL.
- Expert-level English communication skills and experience interacting with CIO- and CISO-level stakeholders.
- Expert-level organizational skills.
- High-level application development and cybersecurity certifications are strongly preferred.
- Experience with JCAM, eMASS, Xacta, Archer, or similar cybersecurity GRC tools is preferred.
