Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for APIs and microservices using tools like RestAssured and Postman.
- Design and implement specialized tests for machine learning models to ensure their accuracy and performance.
- Create integration tests to validate data flow and service interactions within a microservices architecture.
- Conduct non-functional testing, including performance and load testing, to identify bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior team members in test strategy development and debugging.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Backend Engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Write detailed test plans and test cases for new backend services and features.
- Monitor API response times and error rates to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend test automation.
- Expertise in Java, Python, and API testing frameworks like RestAssured.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, gRPC, WebSocket, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with performance testing tools like K6.
- Experience with testing machine learning models for accuracy and performance.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment of test suites.
- Strong analytical skills to debug complex backend issues.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
