Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD platforms and supporting cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Administer Azure DevOps platform components, application servers, and build agents.
- Design reusable CI/CD pipelines, templates, automation scripts, and deployment solutions.
- Maintain Kubernetes container platforms, including Azure and Rancher/RKE2 environments.
- Package and deploy applications using Helm charts and Kubernetes-native mechanisms.
- Provide development teams with technical support, training, and guidance on CI/CD and deployment practices.
- Collect, analyze, and report platform metrics including cycle time, time-to-value, uptime, error rates, and usage.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant IT professional experience.
- At least 3 years of Azure DevOps Server administration experience.
- At least 2 years of deploying applications on Kubernetes environments.
- Bachelor's degree or minimum education level 6 qualification.
- At least one recognized Kubernetes certification, such as CKAD, CKA, or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps Server and Azure DevOps Services administration.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design, configuration, automation, containerization, Helm, operators, and Kubernetes deployment pipelines.
- Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Puppet.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) is desirable.
