Responsibilities
- Lead the technical execution of tooling and framework projects.
- Own full projects or major portions of multi-engineer projects.
- Build expertise in developer tooling and influence roadmap decisions.
- Ensure quality and safety for projects end-to-end.
- Utilize AI across design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers to help them grow in skills and ownership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to address pain points.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in C/C++, Go, Python, or another systems programming language.
- Strong experience in developing, debugging, and shipping embedded software on Linux-based or backend services.
- Demonstrated experience in building or extending developer tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
- 2+ years of mentoring junior team members or leading small teams.
