Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and maintain software systems using AI.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to understand the healthcare domain and iterate on projects.
- Participate in code reviews and problem-solving sessions with senior engineers and team leads.
- Take ownership of meaningful engineering projects that impact members finding doctors and managing medical claims.
- Deliver a capstone project presentation to engineering leaders and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, with expected graduation in Fall 2027–Spring 2028.
- Have solid computer science fundamentals and exposure to front-end technologies such as JavaScript and React or back-end technologies such as Python and Node.js.
- Familiarity with databases or cloud platforms such as AWS and Docker is a plus.
- Exposure to or interest in AI coding agents, including Claude Code, is a plus.
- Demonstrate problem-solving, ownership, communication, adaptability, and interest in meaningful real-world impact.
- The company cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
