Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of new metadata platform components.
- Collaborate with partner teams and domain architects on system design and service integration.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, observable, operable, and efficient services.
- Define the product vision and help assemble feature roadmaps.
- Build and deploy high-quality software across frontend and backend systems.
- Lead project milestones and provide technical guidance on coding standards and complex technical issues.
- Mentor and coach engineers and contribute to team growth, engineering processes, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with at least one modern frontend framework such as React.
- Strong HTML and CSS knowledge, including responsive UI development, state management, accessibility, performance, and security fundamentals.
- Backend coding experience with Node.js is required, with proficiency considered advantageous.
- Strong experience designing and implementing APIs and services, with a solid understanding of system design and data modeling.
- Experience leading a team of engineers and completing project milestones.
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers and providing technical feedback.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Bonus: experience deploying and operating microservices in a cloud environment.
- Bonus: experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure.
