Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Implement and test software designs within established team processes and maintain Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
- Integrate APIs with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, backend systems, and third-party services.
- Optimize API performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in technical and design reviews, code reviews, and comprehensive product testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API performance and functional issues.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams on global, end-to-end solutions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in software product development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and hands-on Java development.
- Strong API and microservices experience using Java/Spring Boot, Python/FastAPI/Flask, or .NET Core.
- Experience with React UI development.
- Hands-on knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, JWT, and API gateways.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and RDBMS, plus working knowledge of Linux.
- Experience with Git, continuous integration tools, cloud deployments, and scripting.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a self-driven approach.
- Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, API monitoring tools, or gateway technologies such as AWS, Azure, WSO2, or Apigee is a bonus.
