Responsibilities
- Develop and review SAP CAP applications, CDS data models, HANA Cloud artifacts, APIs, UI5/Fiori components, and Cloud Foundry deployment descriptors.
- Configure and validate HDI containers, service bindings, destinations, application routing, XSUAA authorization, identity integration, and connectivity.
- Execute unit, integration, security, performance, and deployment testing and document defects, findings, and corrective actions.
- Support MTA builds, CI/CD, transport coordination, release validation, monitoring, incident analysis, and production stabilization.
- Maintain RAG ratings, risks, dependencies, technical decisions, remediation actions, and evidence traceability.
- Conduct program and workstream diagnostics, stabilization, turnaround planning, remediation governance, and recovery execution.
- Facilitate workshops, prepare technical summaries, coach team members, communicate evidence-based findings, and escalate material risks.
- Use approved generative AI tools with human validation, confidentiality, security, bias awareness, traceability, and policy compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience in relevant enterprise application, data-platform, or SAP delivery work.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Hands-on SAP BTP application development experience, including SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, SAP HANA Cloud, Cloud Foundry, CDS, Node.js or Java, OData or REST services, SAPUI5/Fiori, and clean-core extensions.
- Experience with HDI containers, MTA deployment, approuter, destinations, service bindings, XSUAA, OAuth, SAML/OIDC, SAP Cloud Identity Services, Cloud Connector, and role collections.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, API design, observability, secure coding, performance engineering, CI/CD, and production support.
- Demonstrated experience in distressed-program or workstream diagnostics, stabilization, turnaround planning, remediation governance, and recovery execution.
- Ability to communicate evidence-based findings, facilitate accountable decisions, collaborate across technical and business teams, coach colleagues, and escalate risks.
- Preferred experience with SAP Build Code, SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Build Apps, Kyma, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery, and Transport Management Service.
- Relevant SAP certifications in SAP BTP, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Generative AI, or related technologies are desirable.
- Exposure to program assurance, quality audits, commercial controls, multi-vendor delivery, and S/4HANA transformation is desirable.
