Responsibilities
- Found a new Core Frontier engineering team in Bengaluru and help establish its technical standards and culture.
- Build and design innovative features extending the Auth0 platform.
- Harden, scale, and integrate complex identity capabilities such as Native to Web, Cross-App Access, and Custom Token Exchange.
- Design, build, and operate secure distributed systems using Node.js and cloud infrastructure.
- Improve the technical quality, security, reliability, scalability, and efficiency of critical services.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams and Product, Security, Design, Architecture, and QA partners.
- Mentor engineers, contribute to technical excellence, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent.
- Proficiency designing and building services with Node.js using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience creating and maintaining public and secure APIs and front ends.
- Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- A product-oriented mindset and ability to understand customer needs and collaborate on solutions.
- Preferred: experience in Identity and Access Management and knowledge of security engineering principles and application security best practices.
