Base Salary
$78k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data.
- Build production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java with APIs and data services.
- Develop and deploy AI-enabled applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Design event-driven integrations and workflow automation, including asynchronous messaging and audit logging.
- Implement MLOps or DevSecOps practices including containerization, automated testing, and model evaluation.
- Define the direction of mission-critical solutions using agentic frameworks and collaborate with technical and product teams.
- Guide clients in applying agentic frameworks to Air Force business problems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java with APIs and data services.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, REST, GraphQL, or SQL.
- Experience developing and deploying AI-enabled applications such as LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Ability to design event-driven integrations and workflow automation.
- Ability to implement MLOps or DevSecOps practices such as CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, or model evaluation.
- Secret clearance is required; applicants must be eligible for access to classified information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Data Science.
- Preferred experience with geospatial or 3D data, point clouds, LiDAR, photogrammetry, digital twins, or facility and asset data models.
- Preferred experience integrating sensor streams or IoT telemetry using Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or equivalent technologies.
- Preferred experience deploying software, data, or machine-learning pipelines in disconnected, air-gapped, or classified environments.
- Preferred experience with cross-domain data handling constraints and RMF- or STIG-aligned delivery.
- Preferred experience with AI-assisted software development tools and secure-by-design practices.
- TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
