Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize high-integrity, safety-critical embedded code for flight-critical functions.
- Develop Flight Control System and Flight Management System software for unmanned aerial systems.
- Use model-based development workflows to design, simulate, and implement control laws and system behaviors.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle from architecture and modeling through testing and verification under DO-178C standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary aerospace and software teams on autonomy and flight-control challenges.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven embedded software development experience, ideally using C.
- Deep understanding of real-time constraints.
- Experience or strong interest in model-based development workflows such as ANSYS SCADE or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Understanding of high-integrity and safety-critical development standards such as DO-178C or similar.
- Proactive approach to solving complex autonomy and flight-control problems.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; German language skills are a plus.
