Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents for production use.
- Own the full Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment, tuning, and continuous iteration.
- Work directly with enterprise and startup customers to understand business challenges and build scalable AI agent solutions.
- Develop generalizable agent frameworks and integrate capabilities such as voice models, self-service features, and new agent architectures.
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core AI agent platform.
Requirements
- Professional fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A high-agency builder and tinkerer mindset with the ability to overcome obstacles and ship.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Preferred: experience as a founder or founding engineer.
- Preferred: familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred: prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
- Preferred: experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders.
