Base Salary

$200k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

Own customer problems and deliver complete product modules from discovery through architecture, implementation, and production launch.
Build versioned APIs, data models, user interfaces, and production releases.
Design and evolve backend architecture for web, conversational, integration, and agent-driven experiences.
Expose product capabilities to LLM agents through MCP-style servers and conversational interfaces.
Implement backend services for accurate pricing and business logic.
Extend typed pricing models and improve testing, observability, deployment, and performance practices.
Lead technical reviews, investigate production issues, mentor teammates, and contribute to product direction.

At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including startup experience owning and delivering complete product areas.
Strong backend experience with Python, FastAPI, MongoDB or comparable technologies, and production API and data-model design.
Hands-on React and TypeScript experience with the ability to independently deliver polished user interfaces.
Experience integrating AI-assisted features or building agent-driven workflows such as LLM interfaces or MCP-style endpoints.
Knowledge of B2B SaaS monetization, including pricing models, packaging, quoting, billing, or CPQ.
Strong customer problem-solving skills and a high standard for correctness in financial logic.

Annual salary range of $200,000 to $250,000.
On-site work in San Francisco, California.
