Base Salary
$128k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs that support brokerage products and operations.
- Write clean, well-tested code to ensure system reliability and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Improve system performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver features that meet customer and regulatory needs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards and practices.
Requirements
- Experience building backend systems using languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Understanding of database systems and ability to design schemas for reliable data storage and retrieval.
- Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and value code quality.
- Comfortable debugging production issues and improving system performance.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with engineers and partners.
