Base Salary
$120k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Learn client functions and workflows alongside a Senior FDE and Forward Deployed Executive.
- Build and ship production code for LLM applications, agentic workflows, and retrieval and extraction pipelines.
- Build evaluation harnesses that define and measure whether systems work effectively.
- Deploy systems to production on AWS and feed client learnings back into the company’s Blueprints.
- Own a scoped part of a production system, participate in code review, drive adoption, and build credibility with client engineers and operators.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM field.
- 0–2 years of experience, including internships, co-ops, or research.
- Projects integrating AI into the software development lifecycle, with the ability to explain implementation decisions and outcomes in depth.
- Hands-on Claude Code basics and strong programming fundamentals in Python or TypeScript.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical subjects to non-engineers.
- Willingness to spend substantial time learning a client’s business before writing code.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud basics across AWS, Azure, or GCP; containers; CI/CD; AI/ML coursework; data pipelines or SQL; classical ML or MLOps with PyTorch, SageMaker, or MLflow; infrastructure-as-code; open-source contributions; hackathon projects; public writing on applied AI; or Claude and AWS certifications.
- Interest or coursework in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or asset management is beneficial.
