Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot software components within technical products, applications, and systems.
- Write secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when developing solutions.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
- Apply Software Development Life Cycle processes, methodologies, and technical troubleshooting to solve problems of basic complexity.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience for NAMR/APAC India, LATAM, and Hong Kong; EMEA/LATAM-Brazil requirements specify advanced applied experience, and Singapore follows local guidance.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Preferred: full-stack Java enterprise application development experience and at least two years of Java 17+ experience.
- Preferred: experience developing microservices packaged into AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service or Elastic Container Service and deployed to EC2 instances.
- Preferred: experience writing Terraform scripts, deploying in AWS production environments, and using a relational database management system such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
