Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze requirements, software domains, hardware-software interfaces, and overall software characteristics.
- Write software code using programming, scripting, and database languages.
- Support software testing, deployment, maintenance, and software evolution activities.
- Correct programming errors, respond to scope changes, and code software enhancements.
- Apply coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations practices.
- Execute specialized projects, manage short-term team activities, and potentially supervise less experienced professionals.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant software development discipline or broader functional area.
- Ability to work independently according to established principles and take responsibility for end products.
- Ability to manage operational decisions and professional responsibilities within a defined scope.
