Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services powering core products and platforms.
- Develop event-driven systems using Go and Kafka.
- Build scalable microservices in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Drive architecture decisions that improve performance, resiliency, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Own services in production by monitoring, debugging, and improving performance and reliability.
- Write automated tests and support high-quality deployments.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production incidents.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend development experience in Go or a similar language.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-based communication.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Understanding of observability, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues, analyze system behavior, and drive resolution.
- Business-level proficiency in Korean is required.
- Nice-to-have experience includes gaming, payments, commerce systems, adtech, offer monetization platforms, Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms, Redis or similar in-memory data stores, AWS, GCP, Azure, ClickHouse, Postgres, analytical or OLAP/OLTP databases, and internal platforms or developer-facing tools.
