Base Salary
$101k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver software solutions and infrastructure features across design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operations under senior-engineer guidance.
- Write clean, tested code and automation scripts, including infrastructure-as-code.
- Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality.
- Participate in on-call rotations, investigate and troubleshoot incidents, and escalate appropriately.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, self-service tooling, microservices scaffolding, development environments, and testing frameworks.
- Help build and maintain tools, automation, and services supporting Venmo’s AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant software development or related experience.
- Some experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, or container technologies.
- Programming and scripting experience with Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
Benefits
- Expected annual base pay ranges from $100,500 to $173,250 depending on location, experience, and expertise; additional compensation may include performance bonus, equity, or other incentives.
- Balanced hybrid work model generally provides 3 days in the office and 2 days either in the office or at home.
