Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve Brex’s core cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes and networking foundations.
- Contribute to the multi-year BCDR initiative by implementing multi-region infrastructure readiness.
- Drive technical excellence across the stack using tools like Terraform and Docker.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams for seamless adoption of new infrastructure capabilities.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation and improve incident response frameworks.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence by improving documentation and operational best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure foundations, specifically Kubernetes and Postgres.
- Experience with incident response and maintaining highly available production systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-at-scale.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate complex changes across engineering teams.
- Professional experience in software or systems engineering, focusing on scalable systems.
