Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements from technical leaders and contribute to solution vision, strategy, architecture, roadmaps, delivery tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Design, implement, test, support, and enhance enterprise applications in EA’s game development application services portfolio.
  • Develop modular, portable, testable, and reliable software solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote coding best practices through constructive design and implementation feedback.
  • Oversee production system installation and maintenance support while engineering solutions that minimize ongoing support needs.
  • Use cloud computing, automation, and configuration-as-code where appropriate.
  • Manage vendor sourcing, evaluation, relationships, and escalations when applicable.
  • Collaborate with game teams and central teams to drive adoption and improve software solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience developing enterprise-level solutions.
  • 8+ years of source control management experience, including branching strategies and developer workflows.
  • 8+ years of experience with automated build pipelines, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • 8+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5+, CSS3+, JavaScript, WCF, REST API, and jQuery.
  • 8+ years of experience in database development.
  • 3+ years of experience with virtualization and cloud platforms such as VMware, Azure, or AWS.
  • Experience with project management models, specifically Agile.
  • Experience developing automation solutions with tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • Preferred AWS or Azure certifications, along with strong verbal, written communication, and customer service skills.

  • Hybrid work arrangement in Vancouver with three days per week in the office.
  • British Columbia base salary range of $141,400-$204,400 CAD.
  • Three weeks of vacation per year to start and 10 days of sick time per year.
