Responsibilities
- Design, create, maintain, and improve test cases across projects and product areas.
- Use AI-assisted tools to generate, review, optimize, and maintain test cases and scenarios.
- Perform black-box functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and non-functional testing.
- Perform API testing and contribute to API test automation for internal and external services.
- Monitor, analyze, document, and report defects identified during testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to define test coverage.
- Automate test cases using appropriate tools, frameworks, and programming or scripting languages.
- Use AI tools, coding agents, and MCP-enabled workflows to improve QA productivity.
- Contribute to testing strategy for cloud-native systems, microservices, integrations, and distributed architectures.
- Document and assure software quality across all architectural layers.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software quality assurance experience.
- 3+ years of automated testing experience.
- Knowledge of Ruby, Rails, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or other programming languages used for test automation.
- Strong experience with test case design, execution, defect reporting, regression testing, and release validation.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Experience with API testing and automation using Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing, or similar tools.
- Understanding of the SDLC, Agile delivery practices, CI/CD processes, and modern software engineering workflows.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser behavior, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and related protocols.
- Strong AWS knowledge and practical experience testing cloud-native systems and complex microservices.
- Practical experience using AI tools for test creation, automation, test data generation, defect investigation, documentation, and coding-agent workflows.
- Experience with MCP-enabled tools and integrations such as Playwright MCP or Atlassian MCP.
- Ability to understand complex systems, identify risks, and define effective testing approaches.
- Highly proficient spoken and written English.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Linux, mobile testing, payment or fintech systems, QA strategy, automation frameworks, or test infrastructure is advantageous.
- ISTQB Foundation or higher-level certification is advantageous.
