Base Salary
$170k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build security infrastructure for Starlink, including cryptographic services.
- Develop security features for Starlink systems such as routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites.
- Integrate security into factory processes and provide network services.
- Maintain production systems and enhance security posture through implementation and recommendations.
- Build prototypes and identify, design, and test security improvements.
- Support the mission of providing secure internet to underserved communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field and 5+ years of experience in security software development, or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Golang.
- Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems or large-scale infrastructure.
- Familiarity with special purpose security hardware like TPMs and HSMs is preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP and UDP.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
