Responsibilities

  • Develop high-performance, high-volume Java applications.
  • Deliver software solutions through direct development.
  • Support production issues as a point of contact and subject matter expert for incidents and problem tickets.
  • Collaborate with technical leads, software engineers, business analysts, and system analysts to define features and user stories.
  • Contribute to software solution planning and development.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure engineering best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Integrate vendor and open-source products into the overall system.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Java SDK 1.8 or greater.
  • Deep knowledge of software development processes, including SAFe and Agile processes.
  • Broad technical experience with JBoss, Tomcat, shell scripting, JSON, multithreading, Maven, Linux, SQL, Pivotal, Kafka, and Spring.
  • Expertise with Eclipse or IntelliJ and the ability to compile, deploy, and execute code artifacts.
  • Experience with cloud software development using PCF and Azure.
  • Experience developing with microservices architecture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
