Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance, high-volume Java applications.
- Deliver software solutions through direct development.
- Support production issues as a point of contact and subject matter expert for incidents and problem tickets.
- Collaborate with technical leads, software engineers, business analysts, and system analysts to define features and user stories.
- Contribute to software solution planning and development.
- Perform code reviews to ensure engineering best practices.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Integrate vendor and open-source products into the overall system.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Java SDK 1.8 or greater.
- Deep knowledge of software development processes, including SAFe and Agile processes.
- Broad technical experience with JBoss, Tomcat, shell scripting, JSON, multithreading, Maven, Linux, SQL, Pivotal, Kafka, and Spring.
- Expertise with Eclipse or IntelliJ and the ability to compile, deploy, and execute code artifacts.
- Experience with cloud software development using PCF and Azure.
- Experience developing with microservices architecture.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
