Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate a standardized demo platform for provisioning and maintaining demo environments at scale.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and automation for environment creation, updates, resets, and teardown.
- Build CI/CD workflows that align demo environments with release trains, configurations, and feature flags.
- Create and maintain golden demo templates with realistic configurations and safe, reusable seed data.
- Improve reliability and field-team user experience through observability, alerting, runbooks, and self-service tooling.
- Implement access controls, secrets handling, and security best practices for demo environments.
- Partner with Sales Engineering and Product to support demo use cases and accelerate time-to-demo.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, networking, application configuration, and data issues as an escalation point for complex problems.
- Develop demo health metrics and dashboards covering availability, provisioning times, failure rates, and usage.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS and/or Azure, and automation at scale.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Experience building and operating CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and environment lifecycle management.
- Strong scripting ability with Python, Bash, or an equivalent language.
- Experience supporting internal customers such as Sales Engineers and field teams with production-grade reliability and clear operational processes.
- Preferred: experience building self-service provisioning platforms using portals, CLI tools, or templates.
- Preferred: familiarity with feature flagging, configuration management, and multi-tenant demo environments.
- Preferred: experience managing test data generation, sanitization, and refresh processes.
- Preferred: experience operating environments with compliance or security constraints.
