Responsibilities
- Build new web experiences that bring Greenlight’s mobile application functionality to the web.
- Support web development across Greenlight by mentoring teams, defining standards and best practices, and helping determine technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and domain teams to deliver incremental features while balancing technical debt.
- Scale and maintain backend services to support new features and a growing user base.
- Improve the reliability, availability, performance, scalability, and observability of the platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Experience building single-page applications with a modern framework.
- Experience building REST APIs.
- Recent experience building backend services with Node.js.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent context switching.
- Understanding of build, measure, and learn processes and lean startup practices.
- Preferred: experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
- Preferred: experience with MarTech tools such as Segment, Optimizely, or Mixpanel.
- Preferred: Kotlin experience.
