Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and automation frameworks.
- Develop, consume, and integrate REST APIs with internal and external systems.
- Create and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows for infrastructure and application deployment.
- Automate operational tasks through scripting and improve system efficiency.
- Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, cloud, and development teams to streamline deployments.
- Troubleshoot automation, integration, and application performance issues.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience.
- Strong Python programming experience and hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and understanding authentication mechanisms including OAuth2, JWT, API keys, and basic authentication.
- Knowledge of JSON, YAML, XML, and data parsing techniques.
- Experience with Git, GitHub or GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Linux or Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Experience with debugging, testing, and performance tuning.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant Python, Ansible, cloud, or DevOps certifications are preferred.
- Cloud platform experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, plus knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or monitoring tools is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise automation, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and Agile/Scrum is desirable.
