Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, reliable control-plane services for enterprise integration and API management platforms.
- Develop and maintain catalogs for integrations, connectors, APIs, and policies.
- Manage API lifecycle processes including creation, publishing, versioning, and deprecation.
- Implement API authentication, authorization, OAuth2/OIDC, API keys, quotas, throttling, and rate limiting.
- Integrate and optimize API gateways such as Kong and APISIX.
- Configure load balancers and runtime managers to support platform uptime and efficiency.
- Establish DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments with automated promotion and rollback procedures.
- Define and maintain CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code standards.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in integration middleware engineering in product environments.
- Experience with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform and Boomi or Workato.
- Experience integrating API gateways such as Kong or APISIX.
- Experience implementing OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC, multi-tenant architecture, secrets management, and enterprise identity-provider integrations.
- Experience managing PostgreSQL databases and developing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer or equivalent integration-platform certification is preferred.
- API management or cloud-native architecture certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Professional Cloud Developer, is preferred.
- Experience with Celigo or other iPaaS platforms, policy engines such as OPA, event-driven architecture, messaging systems, API/developer portals, audit foundations, and observability foundations is preferred.
