Responsibilities
- Design and develop a visual, node-based Integration Canvas for efficient workflow creation.
- Implement drag-and-drop workflow design with reusable components, validation, testing, and publishing features.
- Define and evolve a canonical, versioned Integration DSL that is UI-independent and compatible with runtime execution.
- Build sequential, conditional, parallel, loop, wait/timer, scheduling, event-triggered, and human-approval workflow constructs.
- Develop field mapping and transformation features for formulas, lookups, type conversion, and schema validation across JSON, XML, and CSV data.
- Configure routing and business-rule logic for dynamic workflow execution.
- Create workflow validation, preview, testing, and debugging tools.
- Collaborate with runtime engineers on workflow-definition and execution contracts and contribute to platform observability, security, CI/CD, and architecture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with integration middleware platforms such as Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React for developer-facing applications.
- Backend development experience with Java, Go, TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience with workflow or orchestration systems and distributed workflow concepts.
- Strong understanding of state machines, event-driven architecture, and declarative models.
- Experience designing DSLs, schemas, or developer platforms.
- Proficiency with graph-based editors or workflow builders.
- Expertise in data transformation, JSON, XML, CSV, and schema validation.
- Preferred experience with React Flow, Rete.js, JointJS, Temporal, Cadence, or Camunda.
- Background in iPaaS, low-code/no-code, or developer platform environments and knowledge of enterprise integration patterns.
- Expertise with OpenAPI, JSON Schema, or AsyncAPI specifications and experience with API management or workflow orchestration tools.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a desired qualification.
- Mulesoft Certified Developer or equivalent integration middleware certification is desired.
- Certification in API management or workflow orchestration platforms such as Camunda or Temporal is desired.
