Responsibilities
- Own the investigation and resolution of technical issues from customer-facing teams.
- Debug and fix issues that require deep engineering involvement.
- Deliver solutions that align with coding standards and development guidelines.
- Act as the technical point of contact between Support, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Write clear documentation including knowledge articles, incident timelines, and post-mortem notes.
- Protect SLAs through strong prioritization and timely escalation.
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of the AppDirect platform across product lines.
- Identify patterns and contribute to automation or tools that reduce repeated manual work.
- Stay aligned with ongoing product and platform changes.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in software development or support engineering, ideally in a SaaS environment.
- Strong experience in Java 11+, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, MongoDB, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of APM and log analysis tools, especially Datadog.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes concepts, deployments, and how services run in clusters.
- Clear understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how code moves from development to production.
- Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, React/JavaScript (nice to have), microservices, event-driven design, and Kafka.
